The One-On-One Appointment Show will be one of the highlights at the 27th Annual ING Spring Conference returns to the World Golf Village May 21-25.

The non-profit International Network of Golf, the industry’s only media-based networking organization, conducts this annual gathering of media and golf companies and leaders. ING is “where the media and golf industry connect.”

Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to join ING and attend the conference. Call 407-328-0500 for details.

Radio Row consists of golf radio shows that receive a display table in the very popular ING One-On-One Appointment Show. There are also TV shows involved.

Shows set up their recording equipment at the table, and every 15 minutes a new company representative comes to the table to be interviewed for a feature that will be used during a future airing of the show. It is also a chance to meet prospective partners and sponsors.Appt-Radio-High Heat

There is space for up to six radio shows in this year’s Radio Row. The first of these spots is taken. Golf Talk Live, hosted by Tony Leodora, is based in Philadelphia and has won the Radio Category of the ING Media Awards three times in the past seven years. GolfTalk Live covers topics including reviews on golf courses, products & equipment, pro tour news and updates, and much more.

The other tables in the Appointment Show are taken by companies that have products, services or destinations in the golf industry. The Appointment Show, which spans over two days, was created to place an emphasis on business relations between the media and golf companies, resorts, destinations and entrepreneurs.

The ING staff gathers all meeting requests ahead of the conference and makes appropriate matches for the appDSCN0948ointments. The entire schedule is determined and published prior to the show to allow for adequate planning time.

Attendees at ING will have the opportunity to test the latest and greatest golf products from manufacturers large and small during the popular ING Demo Lab. Companies with golf clubs, putters and training aids get space on the range and putting green to display product. Attendees, including golf writers, broadcasters and editors from media outlets across America come through the Lab to capture first-hand knowledge of the equipment.
