Bridgestone Joins List Of Sponsors For 23rd Annual ING Media Awards

Bridgestone Golf has agreed to return as a Support Sponsor of the 23rd Annual ING Media Awards contest. This is the fourth straight year Bridgestone has participated in the program.

MA-JPThe non-profit International Network of Golf conducts the contest, recognizing the best and brightest among ING media members. Winners in a dozen writing, broadcasting and photography categories will be announced and honored at the ING Media Awards Presentation Press Conference Jan. 27, 4:45 p.m. in Room 309A at the PGA Merchandise Show.

Noted broadcaster Mitch Laurance will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the program, which will be followed by a reception and Q&A with Johnny Miller. Judging is done by a panel of three independent experts in each category who are selected by Individual Category Chairs. Where possible, by-lines and publication names are stripped from the articles before they are sent to the judges.

As a Support Sponsor, Bridgestone Golf will donate golf balls to each Outstanding Achiever in the 12 categories. First-place winner will receive a golf shirt from Chase 54, a belt from Nexbelt and a golf glove from Zero Friction.
