Featherie Golf, a flourishing company created by a teenager who was frustrated by the lack of apparel choices for junior female golfers, has
signed as a Presenting Sponsor for the International Network of Golf (ING) Spring Forum.
The ING Spring Forum will be hosted by The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in beautiful and historic Savannah, GA. The event, scheduled for June 1-4, will be headquartered at the Thompson Hotel.
Two rounds of golf, including the annual Durland Cup and the Pro Golf Weekly Points Championship, are on the schedule, along with several industry and host presentations, an open mic session, and all the networking ING is famous for. It will be conducted by the 35-year-old, non-profit networking organization, ING.
Featherie has enjoyed steady growth since entering the golf apparel segment three years ago. Founded by teen golfer Kate Korngold, who wanted golf to fit into her life (not the other way around), Featherie was born from the belief that women shouldn’t have to change who they are to belong in the game.
What began as a line for the junior golfer has evolved into a go-to brand for women golfers everywhere, creating the kind of elevated golf clothes that you reach for instinctively. Every woman deserves to step onto the course with confidence, whether she’s a beginner, a competitor, or somewhere in between.
From increasing visibility and support for women’s sports to creating opportunities for young athletes to thrive, Featherie is committed to driving change in the world of sports. Every purchase makes an impact. 1% of all sales will go directly to supporting women’s golf-from funding player entry fees to creating opportunities for the next generation of female athletes. The company is also directly involved in growing the female segment of golf through community events, clinics, and experiences that make the sport more accessible.
“Featherie started from a frustration I had as a competitive junior golfer– I couldn’t find apparel that combined high performance with a modern, flattering feel,” said Kate Korngold. “What began as sketches has grown into a brand for women and girls who want to feel confident in what they wear on and off the course. We’re also excited to be part of ING’s Spring Forum this year and connect with others helping shape the future of the game.”
CEO Kristy Korngold will be joining in from the brand’s headquarters in New York City to provide details and answer questions about Featherie during a 20-minute press conference and Q&A. It will be one of four press conferences during the three days of the event, which will be attended by golf writers, broadcasters and influencers, and other business executives.
