Three up-and-coming companies in the golf industry are among the early registrants for the 27th Annual ING Spring Conference at the World Golf Village May 21-25.
The ING Spring Conference is the annual gathering of golf media and industry executives, and is conducted by the non-profit, media-based International Network of Golf. Anyone in the golf industry or media is eligible to attend.
CHASE54 apparel company, Knuth Golf with its High Heat family of metalwoods, and L2 Putters have committed to the May conference, all returning from last year’s gathering in Heber Valley, Utah.
CHASE54 – Based in New York, CHASE54 is one of the true rising stars in the apparel segment of the golf industry. CHASE54’s performance-enhancing technology is developed to keep golfers cool, dry & flexible, providing the comfort needed to assist golfers in their chase for better scores. Tour professionals who wear the CHASE54 brand include Jerry Kelly, Will Wilcox and Brooke Pancake. The line features a wide variety of colorful designs. This will be the third consecutive ING Spring Conference for CHASE54, which will provide gift shirts to all attendees. www.chase54.com.
KNUTH GOLF – Dean Knuth was a Senior Director at the USGA for 16 years, during which he created the Slope System used in handicapping. Now he is designing golf clubs based on the needs of amateur golfers, whose swing speeds and performance needs are different from those of Tour Pros. The High Heat metalwoods have taken the golf industry by storm, with their lower and deeper center of gravity and other features that make golf easier for amateurs. Winner of the last two ING Industry Honors awards for Product Ingenuity-Emerging Companies, Knuth Golf is attending the conference for the fifth straight year. www.knuthgolf.com.
L2 PUTTERS – Introduced to members at last year’s ING Spring Conference, L2 Putters feature a “physics inspired” design with the highest MOI in the industry. The size and weight of the L2 MOI MAX allows for maximum stability and will improve your distance control and direction, promoting an effortless and natural pendulum stroke. A large impact zone (3.5 inches) provides the greatest amount of “forgiveness” on off-center hits. The “stand alone” feature will improve alignment. www.l2putters.com.
The ING Spring Conference will be a blend of timely educational workshops and panels, networking at its best featuring the One-On-One Appointment Show, product testing in the Demo Lab, and golf competitions.
