Several Mesquite golf courses were the site for the 9th annual Golf Fore Kids toy drive and fundraiser on December 12th. A total of 504 golfers participated and made the event possible by generously bringing toys in lieu of paying a greens fee. In addition, 89 holes were sponsored by area businesses, the most sponsors the even has ever had!
The event helped collect $48,000 in toy donations which were distributed to the Mesquite Salvation Army Angel Tree program; remaining toys were distributed to local children in need.
The four course that were donated for the event in 2013 were Falcon Ridge, Conestoga, Canyons and Palms.
