The International Network of Golf today has announced the postponement of its 30th Anniversary ING Conference, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic currently dominating our lives.

Originally set for May 31-June 3 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, PA, the conference has been rescheduled for the same time frame and the same site next year – May 23-June 27 2021.

“It just became apparent that, even in a best-case scenario regarding COVID-19, there would not be enough time for our members to regroup and make plans to travel to a very important conference for ING,” said Executive Director Mike Jamison. “For now we want our members to take all necessary precautions in battling this devastating virus, for as long as it takes. Be safe, and we will come out of this stronger than ever before. This will lead to a larger and more joyous celebration of life and ING’s 30 years in the golf industry in 2021.”

The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board will remain as the official host.

“The health and safety of visitors to Valley Forge, and Montgomery County, PA are always of the utmost importance to the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB),” said Lisa Karl, Vice President of Sales & Strategic Partnerships for the VFTCB, “We are honored to host this very special, and important, ING milestone, and we look forward to doing so in 2021. Since Montgomery County is an ideal golf destination, and golf is such a valuable economic driver for our community, we’re also excited to raise awareness about our Montco Golf brand, and the continued growth of our golf hotel package.”

This annual gathering of media and golf industry executives is conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf, “Where Media Connects With The Golf Industry.” Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to join ING and attend the conference. Call 407-474-0531 for details.
