The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board has announced that the opening night welcome reception for the 30th Anniversary ING Spring Conference will be held at Bald Birds Brewing Company on May 31.
The ING Conference, set for May 31-June 3 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, PA, is conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf, “Where Media Connects With The Golf Industry.” Anyone in the golf industry and media is encouraged to become a member and attend the conference.
“We’re so excited to host ING’s opening reception at Bald Birds Brewing Company,” said Megan Tomlinson, Director of Events, Membership, & Services for the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, official host of the ING Spring Conference. “Not only are they an awesome partner of our organization, but Bald Birds is also one of those great, independent, neighborhood breweries. This site will help us highlight the more than 30 award-winning breweries, wineries, and distilleries we have here in Valley Forge and Montgomery County, PA. We also look forward to showcasing our food truck vendors, and Montco as a destination.”
Bald Birds Brewing Company is located just five minutes from the Valley Forge Casino Resort. It features a variety of seating areas, from couches to bar stools. It also has an assortment of board games, corn hole and darts, free-play arcade games, and video game systems. TVs are spaced throughout the room for sports viewing.
The ING Spring Conference will feature of full schedule of educational, networking and product display sessions. Highlight is the One-On-One Appointment Show, a series of 15-minute meetings between Exhibitors and Attendees of their choice.
New this year is the revamping of the popular Demo Lab. Attendees and Exhibitors will now take part in two different Demo Labs. The Short Game Demo Experience will take place at Blue Bell Country Club’s short game practice range, feature wedges, putters, instruction and training aids. The Long Game Demo is set for Raven’s Claw Golf Club, feature woods, irons and training.
