Orlando is the featured destination in the latest issue of Destinations, Golfpac Travel’s new editorial golf vacation guide.

Destinations is a 32-page magazine, which includes feature stories about destinations represented by Golfpac Travel, the golf industry’s leading travel packager.  Each issue also includes vacation guides, prices and details about the packages, courses and resorts.

The three-times-per-year magazine was mailed out to 55,000 customers last week, and 68,000 customers have signed up online to receive the digital copy. The next issue will be released in November featuring Southwest Florida, Palm Springs, CA and Orlando (entertainment after golf).

“We decided to switch to an editorial version of the vacation guide to provide more information about each featured destination.  We’re really excited about this change and we think the consumers will be as well,” stated Golfpac Operations Manager Dave Turley.

The current issue of Destinations highlights a golfer’s 6-day vacation in Orlando as planned by Golfpac Travel.  The courses featured are Disney (Magnolia), Grand Cypress Resort, Bella Collina, Southern Dunes, Orange County National and Shingle Creek.  Paradise Palms, a resort-style community comprised of spacious two-story single-family homes and three-to-five bedroom townhomes was the host of choice.  Located in the Walt Disney World tourist corridor known as Kissimmee, it keeps the group within close proximity to dozens of Orlando-area courses.  Ten other homes, condos and villas are highlighted in the magazine as well.

The magazine features two other destinations – South Florida and Arizona.  In South Florida the PGA Village is highlighted as well as other venues in Palm Beach and Miami.  Arizona features Scottsdale and Phoenix with a five-day stay and play guide.  Both destinations end with four package ideas put together by Golfpac Travel.

Golfpac Travel creates custom packages using net room and golf rates wherever possible.  Packages include accommodations, green fees, golf carts, car rentals, taxes and any other features available through specific hotel or golf resorts.
