The International Network of Golf celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2015, and to kick off the celebration, we will lead you on a stroll through history. Over the next few months the ING staff will post a “25 Years Ago” fact on its Facebook page. Jamison Golf Group has hired Kimberly Blanc as its Chief Facilitator, and the new Membership Coordinator of the International Network of Golf. The Florida State University graduate replaces Michelle Maier, who moved to Atlanta in the summer. Blanc’s chief responsibility will be to oversee the facilitation of all member benefits programs of ING, the non-profit networking organization that JGG manages. She will handle membership renewals, oversee the ING Media and Industry Honors awards programs, and assist in planning and conducting ING conferences, events and more. Nominations for the 22nd Annual ING Industry Honors Awards must be into the International Network Of Golf’s office by end of day Wednesday, October 29 in order to be considered for this year’s edition of “Golf’s Academy Awards.” The International Network of Golf, a 24-year-old, non-profit networking organization, conducts the ING Industry Honors program. Nominees do not have to be members of ING, and can come from anyone in the industry, even from the nominees themselves. The Linksters Tap Room in Lakeland, Florida, Saturday was turned into a shrine to the life of Jack O’Leary, who passed away earlier in the week. A room full of Jack’s ING friends, Lakeland bar buddies and family enjoyed sharing memories from Father O’Leary’s full life. Daughter Heather and son Steve were delighted with the turnout, and shared in the story-telling. We’re sure Jack, ING’s first president and founding member, looked down from above wearing an approving smile. RIP Father O’Leary

ING member Greg Wires knows a little something about back-to-back wins as well. He held onto his lead in the final week to capture the Razor Golf Pick Your Pro Contest for the second straight year.
